The future is linear

 

Mineralus has developed a new patented grinding technology that is a step change in grinding energy efficiency, capital cost, operating and construction simplicity.  And it's so simple.

 

The Mineralus linear (or L-SAG) grinding machine uses "off the shelf" components to replicate the "charge motion" inside a Semi Autonomous Grinding (SAG) mill, while virtually eliminating the vast energy loss from tumbling friction and abrasion.  All the energy consumed by the L-SAG is translated directly into energy efficient impact breakage.

 

Instead of an awkward, heavy tumbling mill, with thick shell, complex gearing systems and massive foundation, the L-SAG uses relatively light "off the shelf" vertical sidewall conveying systems to lift, then release the charge for impact breakage.
